Lionel Richie

Spoke with Lionel on Thursday 28th September 2006. I was his 1pm interview scheduled for 40 minutes. About 55 minutes after we started talking, the record company slipped us a note asking us to rap it up. We touched on the Commodores, recording with Diana Ross, and his solo hits. I really wanted to talk about Nicole, but didn't feel he wanted to go there. And out of the blue he mentions her name. And at a time like that, what's a girl supposed to do?? Paul Simon

We had a chat at The Savoy(!) when he was releasing his latest album Surprise.  He has presence, and was so humble.  We talked about some of his past hits, and I loved the story behind The Mother and Child Reunion which lead him to Jamaica to work alongside the bass player of Toots and The Maytals.  Loved every moment of talking to Paul – an absolute legend!!

Denise Lewis

Athlete and now doting mother, Denise has collaborated with Cow&Gate on a animation DVD to inform parents on children’s immune systems.  Although she herself admits that Breast Is Best, she is also aware that some mothers don’t always find breast feeding easy, and the DVD shows relevant Cow&Gate products which are the next best thing to breast feeding.
